CONSTITUTION:A betting ticket refunding device reads test information 21 of a test chart 20, a pattern recognizing means 34 identifies the test information 21, and a detected voltage regulating means 31 sets a shift voltage so as to make the identification result of the test information 21 correspond to reference identification information 36 according to the judgment of a recognition result judging means 37. By this processing, the reading rate of the figure character information of the betting ticket by means of the betting ticket refunding devices, which are provided for multiple sets, can be regulated to the same according to the reference identification information 36.
