PURPOSE:To improve production capability, by arbitrarily selecting the position of the origine of a component feeding table, thereby simplifying an apparatus, and shortening the time of the positioning movement of the component feeding table. CONSTITUTION:An electronic-part mounting apparatus is composed of the following parts: a component feeding table 1 which mounts a plural kinds of electronic components and can selectively move the components in accordance with mounting- sequence program data; a part sucking head 3 which sucks the electronic component from the component feeding table 1 and mounts the electronic component on a printed board 4; an operating part 5 which can perform operations such as input/output, correction and the like of the mounting-sequence data; and a control part 6 which controls the parts described above. In this apparatus, the position of the origine of the part feeding table 1 can be arbitrarily selected. The selecting of the position of the origine is performed, e.g., as follows: the position of the origine of the part feeding table 1 is selected and changed based on the information of the mounting-sequence program data; or the position of the origine of the part feeding table 1 is selected by the data input operation through the operating part.
