PRODUCTION OF GRANULE BASED ON TITANIUM OXIDE, ZIRCONIUM OXIDE OR CERIUM OXIDE AND OBTAINED PRODUCT

Process for the granulation of titanium, zirconium or cerium oxide. The process is characterised in that it comprises the following stages: - a suspension or a sol of the said oxide, at least one water- repellency agent and at least one organic solvent which is poorly miscible or immiscible with water are brought into contact and mixed, and this produces a liquid phase substantially free from the said oxide and from the granules based on the said oxide; - the abovementioned liquid phase is separated from the granules; - the said granules are optionally washed, dried and calcined.
