Skin care prods. based on animal milk are preserved by addn. of methyl or propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, benzyl alcohol, methyl chloroisothiazolinone or methylisothiazolinone under special conditions. A skin cream in which fat components, emulsifiers and preservatives are combined at 40-90 deg.C is claimed, as is a skin gel in which polymers, neutralising components and preservatives are combined at 10-35 deg.C and the mixt. is left to stand for 5-45 mins.
