AbstractProcess for the manufacture of pharmaceutical compositionscontaining unilamellar liposomesThe present invention relates to a process for themaunfacture of pharmaceutical compositions in the formof aqueous dispersions containing unilammellar liposomescomprising (I) an amphiphatic compound having biologicalactivity and (II) a phospholipid or an analogous lipid and,optionally, an additional lipid. The liposome dispersion isobtained by preparing a homogenous mixture of the componentsand by dispersing the homogenous mixture in an aqueous phase.The unilamellar liposomes can be used therapeutically ascarriers of amphiphatic pharmaceuticals of extremely variedkinds.
