The use of large concentrationsof bleachable light absorbing layers over the photosensitiveemulsion tends to leave an undesirable residual stain.The inclusion of a specific class of low intensity recipro-city failure inducers to silver halide emulsions enablesthe emulsions and their photographic articles to be safelyhandled under white light conditions.
