摘要
the interferon induced proteins have anti viral effects in animals. dna sequences encoding such proteins and recombinant dna molecules, and hosts transformed with such expression of the protein.also is described a process for the production of an interferon induced protein in an animal in the absence of induction of interferon, or when there is an inadequate expression of the interferon induced protein, the process of introducing into the animal a gene c odant such protein.a process is also described for protection of an animal against a viral infection (e.g., flu) to administer the animal an effective amount of an anti viral, anti viral protein (e.g. protein mx). the process can be used to protect an animal against a viral infection (e.g., flu) by introducing a gene encoding a protein with anti virus (e.g.protein mx) in an animal susceptible to catch such an infection or by administering a pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective amount of an anti viral protein to an animal to catch such a disease.
