A photopolymerizable composition is disclosed which comprises a polymerizable compound and a photoinitiator combination of 1,4- or 9,10-dimethoxy-anthracene and 2-tri(chloro or bromo)-methyl-(3H)-quinazolin-4-one. The initiator is useful in preparing photopolymerizable compositions having increased effective photospeed.
