Folding propeller device for motorised gliders

A folding airscrew (19) and a corresponding positioning device (35) are proposed for a motorised glider having an auxiliary drive (13). The propeller blades (29, 30) are supported on pivoting shafts (26) on the propeller hub (23) such that they can pivot in the propeller plane, to be precise into a quiescent position (50) in which both propeller blades point outwards from the hub, parallel to one another. One configuration of the positioning device is a bracket (37) which is pivoted from the rear through the propeller plane and guides and fixes the blades which are located in the quiescent position (50).
