Lamp socket for incandescent bulbs having free wire ends. The lamp socket has the object of accommodating miniature incandescent bulbs having free wire ends, simply by plugging them in and without any soldering work being required. As a result of the geometry of the lamp socket, model railway lights, for example, can be modelled very realistically. According to Claim 1, for example, the lamp socket consists of an outer tube (3) and an insulating inner tube (4).
