Socket for model railway signal lamp - has two opposite conducting brackets which are in contact with lamp terminal wires

The light bulb (4) for model railway signals (1) has a cylindrical shape and has two wire terminals (8, 9). The lamp sockets on the signal face consist of two opposite semi-circular brackets (2, 5). They are made of conducting material so that a positive and negative connection is obtained. When the lamp is being installed, the two terminal wires are bent back along opposite sides of the lamp body so that each one is in contact with one of the brackets. The wire terminals (8, 9) of the light bulb (4) are bent back to lie along the sides of the bulb.
