Clamping device, in particular for a mast-boom joint

Many clamping devices, above all of a mast-boom joint are of complicated design and can be manipulated only with difficulty. The new clamping device is therefore intended to be of simpler design and to exhibit advantages in manipulation. For this purpose, the clamping device comprises an operating member in the form of a clamping sleeve (33) which is provided with a helical profile (35) on its lateral surface. Extending therein is at least a partial winding of the tensioning rope (13), which is supported on the clamping sleeve (33) and a further clamping element. The position of the partial winding on the clamping sleeve (33) is shifted by rotating the clamping sleeve (33), and as a result the distance is increased or reduced, so that the clamping force can be set thereby. The clamping device is suitable chiefly for mast-boom joints. IMAGE
