Remote manual adjustment of azimuth is made using a knob 9 coupled by a flexible shaft 10 to azimuth adjusting screw 8 threaded to the head mounting plate 3. In place of the knob and shaft a thumbwheel coupled through a loop and pulley wheel drive may be used. Stops are used to limit the rotation of the knob or thumbwheel. The two adjustment screws of an autoreverse head may be remotely controlled at the same time from a single gear engaging teeth on the adjustment screw heads, remote drive to the single gear adjusting the azimuth through whichever stop the head happens to be set against.
