PURPOSE:To provide the title detector intended to ensure overweight and/or excessive filling to be prevented irrespective of the bulk density of grass, so designed that a means is provided to transmit to a displacement detection sensor a displacement, the sum of those for movable members for weight detection and bulkiness detection, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A movable member 11A for weight detection and a second movable member for bulkiness detection 11B both of which make displacements in response to, respectively, increases in the weight and bulkiness of reaped turf contained in a grass collection bag 5, and a single displacement detection sensor 11C is installed. Furthermore, a means is provided to transmit to said sensor 11C a displacement, the sum of those for both the movable members 11A and 11B. This means is constituted by assisting with the members 11A and 11B a string A to actuate the sensor 11C by stretching so as to be operated on the stretched side with the respective displacements for the members 11A and 11B; thus ensuring overweight and/or excessive filling for grass to be prevented irrespective of the bulk density of the grass, leading to higher efficiency of grass collection work.
