PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject device equipped with a rotating sensor rotatably arranged in the course of an air stream and capable of detecting the amount of collected grass by the rotation of the rotating sensor and thereby accurately detecting the amount of the collected grass without any trouble. ;SOLUTION: This detector for the amount of collected grass is equipped with a rotating sensor 4 rotatably arranged in the course of an air stream and is capable of detecting the amount of the collected grass by the rotation of the rotating sensor 4 in the detector for the amount of the collected grass capable of conveying cut grass with the air stream and detecting the amount of the collected and cut grass.
