GROUP CONTROL TYPE ELEVATOR SYSTEM AND GROUP CONTROLLING DEVICE AND METHOD OF ELEVATOR

PURPOSE: To improve operation efficiency by grouping the building inside floors into plural sectors during the up and down-peak period, and assigning a car so that the total estimative operation quantity being in charge of the respective sectors becomes almost equal between the sectors. CONSTITUTION: A group controller 32 groups the building inside floors (the 1 to 13 floors) into plural sectors SN1 to SN3 when an elevator system having plural cars 1 to 4 is put in an up and down-peak condition. In that case, the floors are assigned so that the total estimative operation quantity being in charge of the respective sectors SN1 to SN4 becomes almost equal between the sectors in a single cycle on the basis of an estimative operation quantity estimated from operation quantity data in a prescribed time by an operation quantity measuring means to be assigned to the respective cars 1 to 4 through a machine controller 30 so that cars assigned to the sectors are departed from the main floors through the machine controller 30 in response to a landing call to thus improve operation efficiency.
