SEAT DEVICE OF SADDLE TYPE FOUR-WHEEL CAR

PURPOSE:To enhance the knee gripping characteristics by inserting a stay of a seat to a cross bar of a metal fitting, hooking fast, accomplishing installation of the seat, and putting a knee grip installed at the seat front alongside the stepped part of the rear edge of a front fender. CONSTITUTION:The front of a seat 1 is formed with approx. inverted U-shaped profile, and the sides of the front are protruded ahead the upper front end to constitute a knee gripping part 2 for pinching by upper links of rider legs. To a bracket 8 at the upper front of a frame 7 braces 5 are fixed to the ends of a cross bar 4 while a metal fitting 3 equipped with a pair of bosses 6 are fixed in the center, and the tail of a front fender 12 is fastened to each brace 5. A bar 14 protruding ahead the front of the bottom plate 13 of seat 1 with capability of inserting to the cross bar 4 from behind, and in the seat mounted condition, the front edge of the knee gripping part 2 shall lie alongside the stepped part of the left and right rear edges of the front fender 12.
