摘要

The solution consists in the method of treatment of wastewaters, originating from production of ethylbenzene by alkylation of benzene by ethylene in Friedel - Crafts reaction. The wastewaters are separated from the alkylation product, its pH is adjusted by addition of alkalis, the obtained aluminium hydroxide in the form of flocculi is separated from the wastewater by sedimentation and the remaining water is drained off. The method enables to reuse aluminium salts contained in these wastewaters.
