GRAPE VINE VARIETY (VITIS VINIFERA SSP. SATIVA L.) FLAVOURED BLACK

This invention presents a variety of grape (vitis ssp.sativa) approved as Negru Aromat, obtained by sexual hybridization - free fecundation of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety; this grape variety is designed for winemaking purposes in viticultural areas with climatic conditions comparable to the viticultural centre of Valea Calugareasca.The Negru Aromat variety has a light brown stem, a pentalobated leaf with closed petiolar sinus, average size superior lateral sinuses, sometimes with a spur in the sinus pocket, small and average size inferior sinuses, with teeth turned downward, the tooth on top elongated and straight, normal hermaphrodite flower, average vigour stock, with 190 cm yearly sprouting. The offshoot in July is green-purplish colour, slightly striped, smooth. The grape cluster is monoaxial, conical, with spherical berry, black bluish skin, dense and juicy pulp, discreetly flavoured. This variety shows better resistance to Oidium and the grey rot, compared to the witness variety Busuioaca de Bohotin, ensures a production of 16 t/ha, accumulates an average of 220.4 g/l sugars and 4.8 g/l acidity, and the obtained wine is aromated (velvety) and has higher colour intensity than the witness variety.
