GRAPE VINE VARIETY (VITIS VINIFERA ssp. SATIVA L.) DONNARIS

The invention describes a grape (Vitis vinifera sspSativa L.)variety called Donaris, obtained by infraspecific hybridization of the Bicane and Muscat Hamburg varieties, designed for fresh consumption or for quality, semi-aromated white wines and adapted to the climate conditions of the south of the country, also recommended for propagation in the Dealul Mare and Vrancea vineyards. This variety has a high sugar accumulation potential of 190-230 g/l, acidity of 4.2-5.6 g/l and a pleasant, flavoured taste. The grape maturity for consumption is in the first part of September, and the consumption period is of 20-25 days. It has the same sensitivity to pathogen agents and freezing as the Muscat Otonel witness variety, but a lower sensitivity to grey rot.The Donaris variety offers sustained yields of 5.35 kg/vine, 17.8 t/ha, an increase of 6.3 t/ha versus the witness variety.
