UNIVERSAL SEAL CAGE LANTERN RINGWITH CHANNELS AND FLUID SLOTSABSTRACTUniversal Seal Cage Lantern Ring (USCLR) with channels andfluid slots disposed therein which allow fluid to circulate andwhich provide flexibility. Furthermore, USCLR fluid indentationsare provided on about every third to fifth fluid slot for additionalfluid circulation. The USCLR is constructed in an undefinedlength and wraps around a shaft forming a single complete ringaround any given sized shaft for which it is cut. Either thecontinuous lands or the intermittent lands may form the insidediameter of the USCLR.
