Convertible multicolour press for perfecting, particularly for bank notes

The press consists of two essentially identically constructed halves, each comprising a printing cylinder (4, 14), a voltage applied to this image transfer cylinder (6, 16), a blanket cylinder (7, 17) and a collect-printing plate cylinder (5, 15). In the offset-printing position of the rubber blanket cylinder (7, 17) on the printing cylinder (4, 14) and is inked by offset plate cylinders while the collect-printing plate cylinder (5, 15) is out of operation. In the collect-printing position of the rubber blanket cylinder (7, 17) from the printing cylinder (4, 14) moved away, is by color selection cylinders (8, 18) inked and dyes, in turn, the collect-printing plate cylinder 5, 15) which abuts (the image transfer cylinders 6, 16). In both print positions of the image transfer cylinder (6, 16) further from the plate cylinder (10, 20) inked an additional Einfarbendruckwerks. The paper wraps around first partially the printing cylinder (4) of the first machine half and is thereby printed on the one hand, directly from the image transfer cylinder (6) and, in the offset-printing position, farther from the blanket cylinder (7), and then wraps partially around the pressure cylinder (14) of the second machine half, wherein the other side of the paper is printed in an analogous manner.
