METHOD OF COLLECTING WASTE MATERIAL AND SYSTEM THEREFOR.

A hygienic waste collector and the method thereof which can freely discard waste material at each position inside a building and can save labor necessary for transporting or collecting the waste material. The waste collector (1) consists of a shoot-in portion (3) disposed at each floor of the building in order to discard the waste material put into a waste container (2) having a predetermined shape, a vertical transportation pipe (4) having each floor of the building communicate with one another and communicating with the shoot-in portion (3), a horizontal transportation pipe (5) communicating with the lower end portion of a vertical transportation pipe (4) and extending to a waste collecting position and a blower apparatus (8) for pressure-feeding air into the horizontal transportation pipe (5). The hollow portions of the vertical and horizontal transportation pipes (4) and (5) have hollow sections which are slightly greater than the outer diameter of the waste container (2). The waste collection method comprises storing the waste material in the waste container (2), charging the waste container (2) into the shoot-in position (3), transferring the waste container inside the vertical transportation pipe (4) and pressure-feeding it to the waste collecting position through the horizontal transportation pipe (5).
