The thermometer consists of a main body (1) formed of disc-shaped strips of isolating material. In the front a longitudinal groove (2) is formed and in both surfaces of the main body two diagonal grooves (3,4) are cut. The measuring windings (5) of twisted resistance wire are embedded in the grooves and covered by a voltage resistant synthetic material. The windings (5) are connected to the leads (6) through the contacts (7) and then through solder-contacts (9) to the external wires (8). USE/ADVANTAGE - Temp measurement of windings in large electrical machines which is not influenced by interference voltages and can withstand high voltages.
