NET-PLUCKING OF TEA AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To enable the plucking of only young sprouts in high efficiency by covering a tea tree with a net before young sprout begins to grow and winding the net with a detachable winding bar attached to an end of the net when young sprouts are extended through the mesh and grown to a size suitable for plucking. CONSTITUTION:Before young sprouts of tea leaves begin to grow, a tea tree 2 is covered with a net 1 suitable for the plucking of tea leaves and the net 1 is placed close to the tea tree 2 in stable state with a pressing means 6. When young sprouts are extended through mesh of the net 1 and grown to a size suitable for plucking, the pressing means 6 is removed from the net, a detachable winding rod 10 is attached to an end of the net and the net is wound up by using the winding rod 10 as a core. After plucking the young sprouts, the winding rod 10 is removed from the net and attached to the other net and the tea-plucking operation is performed by winding the net.
