INSPECTION OF COLOR OF TEA LEAF IN TEA-MANUFACTURING PROCESS AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method for color of tea leaves in a tea- manufacturing process always capable of accurately measuring color of tea leaves irrespective of a state of outside light and to provide an apparatus therefor. ;SOLUTION: This inspection apparatus 1 for color of tea leaves has a light shielding chamber R1 for performing a visual inspection and a standard light source lamp 11 provided so as to face to inside of the light shielding chamber R1, and further, a light shielding chamber R2 for performing a scientific inspection, an image inputting device such as a CCD camera 21 taking a photograph of the image of sample tea leaves A and an image treating device 22 transforming image information of the image inputting device to a prescribed type of value. When performing the visual inspection, the sample tea leaves A are placed in the light shielding chamber R1 and irradiated by the standard light source lamp 11, then the color is inspected by a visual inspection. At the scientific inspection, the sample tea leaves are placed in the light shielding chamber R2 and the photograph of the sample tea leaves A is taken by the image inputting device such as the CCD camera 21. The taken image information is fed to the image treating device 22 and measured results are calculated and the results are expressed on a display 23.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
