APPARATUS FOR PRESS GRANULATION OF POWDER AND METHOD FOR PRESS GRANULATION OF CARBON BLACK

PURPOSE:To enhance productivity by feeding a powder within a cylindrical main body by the use of a feed screw and discharging the same from the discharge port in a sufficiently degassed state and, continuously, pressing the degassed powder by the use of a press granulation rolls to rapidly granulate and mold the same. CONSTITUTION:A supply port 12 is formed to one end part of a degassing feed conveyor part 10 and a discharge port 13 is formed to the other end part thereof and cylindrical main body 11 of which the almost intermediate part is formed into a porous part 11a, the vacuum pump 15 evacuating the cylindrical main body 11 through the porous part 11a and the feed screw 16 arranged in the cylindrical main body 11 and degassing the powder supplied from the supply port 12 to discharge the same to the discharge port 13 are provided. A pair of press granulation rolls 21 pressing the degassed powder discharged from the discharge port 13 to granulate and mold the same are provided to a press granulation and molding part 20. As a result, productivity is markedly enhanced as compared with conventional one.
