PURPOSE: To improve amplitude stability by extracting radiation from an optical cavity which is capable of preventing backing of a spatial cavity and maintaining the temperature of an optical cavity within a noiseless range over its temperature range. CONSTITUTION: A solid-state laser material 6 is excited by radiation from pumping means 2, 3 and generated light oscillates in a linear standing wave optical cavity, regulated by a mirror 7 and a reflection coating film formed on the surface 8 of a quarter-wave length plate 5. Consequently, the pumping laser diode/solid-state laser having improved amplitude stability can be obtained.
