LIVING STATE MONITORING SYSTEM AND ITS OPERATION METHOD

PURPOSE:To recognize the living state of a managed person without disturbing privacy by judging whether the managed person spends normal life or not based on a signal outputted from an opening/closing detecting means for detecting the opening/closing a water valve. CONSTITUTION:When the water valve 2 is opened to use water, the opening is detected by the opening/closing detecting means 3, and when the temporarily closed water valve 2 is opened again to use water, the opening is detected again by the means 3. When an interval T1 between a former detecting signal A1 and a latter detecting signal A2 is included within a set time interval T2, the controlled person (single aged person) spends normal life is judged. On the other hand the water valve 2 is not opened after the lapse of the set time interval T2 and the use of water is not recognized (i.e. the signal A2 is not detected), a signal processing part is decided that the managed person is in an abnormal state such as sudden illness and displays abnormality. Thus whether the single aged man spends normal life or not can be judged.
