PURPOSE: To simplify a structure and to surely keep the hinge opening or closing position by contacting a projecting part of an articulated lever to a straight part or a curved part of a U-shaped spring held by another articulated lever. CONSTITUTION: When a hinge is on its closing position, a support edge 23 of a tongue-shaped projecting part 14 of an articulated lever 8 is contacted with a straight part 20 of a U-shaped spring 16 held by a pivot pin 5 of an articulated lever 7, and pressed in the closing direction by a spring 16 having an effective lever arm length (a). When a door 12 is opened at a small angle, the support edge 23 is moved on a curved part 21 curving along an arc of a circle, so that the hinge is not pressed in its opening direction or closing direction. The door 12 is kept in its full-opened position by increasing the radius of curvature of the curved part 21. An elastic abutting part is optionally formed by a swivel lever engaged with leg parts of the U-shaped spring 16.
