PURPOSE:To concentrate waste fluid by supplying heated steam to the evaporation boiler of the first stage and successively sending waste steam to evaporation boilers on and after the second stage. CONSTITUTION:Heated steam S is supplied only to the heat exchange tube 5 of the evaporation boiler 1 of the first stage from the outside and a vacuum pump 9 is driven to supply waste fluid K of a distilled spirit from sweet potatoes to the evaporation boiler 4 of the fourth stage being the last stage. The moisture content of the waste fluid E in the evaporation boiler of the first stage is held to a range of 80-87% and the temp. thereof is held to a range of 80-120 deg.C to perform operation. Even when the pressures in the respective evaporation boilers are reduced and the evaporation temps. under respective reduced pressure conditions become gradually low, flowability is kept. Therefore, the steam S from the outside and the waste fluid are subjected to heat exchange in the evaporation boiler of the first stage to concentrate the waste fluid. By this method, concn. is executed smoothly and easily.
