PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a biodegradable container, which is a method of effectively utilizing a solid matter of distilled lees of Shochu (Japanese distilled liquor) to manufacture a biodegradable container therefrom, thereby making an added value higher than a conventional method of producing a compost or a feed therefrom, which is excellent in the utilization and the use of the same, and which is capable of effectively utilizing the distilled lees of the Shochu to enhance their added value and further preventing the pollution of global environment by making the biodegradable container with which a container causing an environmental problem is replaceable. SOLUTION: A solid matter of distilled lees of Shochu, which is a decomposed matter by brewing, is used as a principal material. The principal material is mixed under heating with a connecting agent prepared by mixing starch with a vegetable resin, and the mixture is compression-molded under heating. Thus, a biodegradable container capable of being utilized for various uses can be manufactured.
