PURPOSE:To suppress the cavitation and erosion by forming the bottom surface of a valve body installed in shiftable ways into a cage having a number of small holes, into a tapered surface recessed to the inside of the valve body. CONSTITUTION:Fluid reaches the outside of a cage 8 from an inlet passage 2 and flows inwardly, passing through a number of small holes 12 from the outside of the cage 8, and each of the flow rate and pressure is adjusted in accordance with the opening area of the small hole 1 which is varied according to the shift quantity of a valve piece 9, and the fluid flows out from an outlet passage 3. Since the bottom surface of the valve piece 9 is formed into a tapered surface 14 recessed to the inside of the valve piece, the bottom surface of the valve piece 9 can be released from the spread of the jet flow supplied from the small holes 12, and the cavitation and erosion of the inner peripheral surface of the cage 8 and the bottom surface of the valve piece 9 can be suppressed.
