PROCESS FOR UTILIZING WASTE IRON-HYDROXIDE SLAM IN THE CONCRETE

The slurry, comprising (%) less than 50 solids, iron/heavy metals more than 8, iron/transitional metal more than 30, arsenic less than mg/g, pH 6-9, acid soluble solids less than 30, is mixed in the concrete substituting some of the water content. The strength of the concrete is then ensured by readjusting the cement content. The product can be used for coloured concrete casings on buildings
