摘要

Radioactive concrete occurs along with the decommissioning of the nuclear power plant. And this radioactive concrete will be expensively disposed of after the stabilization by the filling material like mortar. We have developed such technique that utilizes the radioactive concrete for the filling material of miscellany solid waste etc. The purpose is to lower the disposal cost of radioactive concrete. This study is to examine the mix proportion of mortar, which is to achieve the required performance as the filling material and to increase the ratio of the radioactive concrete to the filling material, to utilize the crushed concrete as the aggregate of the filling material. In this study, the recycled aggregates made by 4 types of crusher (jaw-crusher, rod-mill, hammer-crusher, and cone-crusher) were used, and the performance of each mortar with these aggregates was measured to select the most appropriate crusher. As a result, the hammer-crusher was selected from the better fluidity of mortar, moreover for reasons of its compactness and the closed system of crushing chamber. The ratio of the radioactive concrete to the filling material is more than 900 kg/m{sup}3 for the basic mix proportion of mortar. In this study the concrete sample is non-radioactive.
