The invention relates to an offshore fish farm having a semi- immersible floating platform in which fish bins are inset and consequently are immersed by a predetermined depth into the water in question. The fish bins possess closable mesh windows and a disposal facility for impurities. As a result, it becomes possible to keep the fish in a manner which is protected against harmful environmental influences by environmental contamination or mechanical stresses, so that production failures are no longer to be feared.
