End Closure for A Rotary Cutter Housing An end closure (34) for the cutter housing (24) of a road planer (10) in which a pair of self-opening and self-closing cover plates (48,50) provide a protective cover over a shaft clearance opening (46) in the end wall (36) of the housing (24).
