A deodoriser for sludges of purification plants comprises an undecylenic acid alkyl or polyoxyalkylene ester contg. 2-10 oxyalkylene units. The esters comprise undecylenic acid 1-12C alkyl or polyoxyalkylene, polyoxypropylene or poly(oxyethylene) (oxypropylene esters.
