Digital autoadaptive equaliser for a link transmitting a signal in a code with at least three levels. It includes a received-signal correcting device (17) consisting of an analogue subtracter (14) receiving an analogue correction signal supplied by a converter (11) connected at the output of an autoadaptive digital filter (10) which is connected at the output of the correcting device via a quantising device (18) transcoding the corrected received signal into binary form and indicating the sign of the transcoding error made for each transcoded symbol of this signal.
