The adjustable clamping ring has radial slits (E) to form a flexible fan-section clamping ring (1). Pref. radially directed adjusting screws are provided in the fan-sections (F), and are held in the required position by locking screws. Pref. the ring is split (D) in the circumferential direction. USE/ADVANTAGE - The fan-section clamping ring can be fitted to items of uneven cross-section.
