The cable etc. support carrier includes a cantilever (6) which includes a mounting surface (7) for cable-ways, such as cable channels (8) or troughs, and provided with a bed surface (9) having slots (15) along the length of the channel. At least one slot is provided in the cantilever's mounting surface and extends, in the assembled condition, transversely to one of the slots in the channel. The cantilever consists of an angle section having two limits extending mutually at right angles, one forming the mounting surface. ADVANTAGE - Easier assembly of connection elements for fixing channel or trough on cantilever.
