An adjustable contact assembly is built in an electronic load regulator of the type used in motor vehicles. A spring contact arm (6) is mounted at the end of a carrier (7). The position of the contact arm is dependent upon the setting of an adjuster (10). The adjuster can be turned through an angle using a screwdriver inserted into an end slot. The adjuster is in the form of an eccentric with facets (20) set at different radial distances to displace the contact arm. USE/ADVANTAGE - Ensuring engine does not stall. Provides stable adjustment without becoming displaced by vibration.
