The sand-blasting equipment comprises a pressurised vessel (1) with loading system (2) shut by a valve (3), also a sand-supply portion (4) delivering into a metering unit (5). A further system (6 - 9) delivers a medium under pressure into the vessel and also ot the outlet (10) of the metering unit, which is connected by hose (11) to a nozzle (12). A second and similarly-equipped sand pressure vessel (1`) is provided, to together with a changeover system (14, 14`, 25) between the outlets from the metering units (5, 5`) and the hose. When working one of the outlets is cnnected to the hose, and the other is shut off. ADVANTAGE - Easy modification of existing equipment to give continuous blasting.
