This device comprises two parallel and rotary cylinders (3) separated by a casting space, as well as two lateral faces (4) of closure applied in a sealed manner against the ends of the cylinders (3) and lined with insulating refractory (5); each side face (4) being of the "negative insert" type, refractory seals (6), constituted by flexible consumable tapes, are interposed between the front faces (3a) of the cylinders and the side faces (4) , and run during the casting at the same speed as the cylinders (3), thanks to suitable drive means. The seals (6), unwound from supply coils, prevent liquid metal infiltration between the front faces of the cylinders (3) and the small faces (4), and therefore any risk of blockage of the device.
