PURPOSE:To obtain the title copolymer having excellent rigidity, transparency and heat resistance, high crystallization rate, moldable at high speed by polymerizing propylene by using a catalyst prepared by preliminarily polymerizing a monomer in the presence of a specific solid component and an organometallic component, an organometallic catalyst and an Si compound. CONSTITUTION:Propylene is copolymerized with ethylene and/or 4-20C alpha-olefin in the presence of a polymerizing catalyst consisting of (A) a preliminarily polymerized catalyst obtained by previously polymerizing 0.1-1,000g based on 1g solid Ti catalytic component of a reactive monomer such as 3- methyl-1-butene, styrene or vinylcyclohexane by using a solid Ti catalytic component containing Mg, Ti, halogen and an electron donor as essential components and an organometallic catalytic component, (B) an organometallic catalytic component and (C) an Si compound shown by the formula (R1 and R2 are cyclopentyl or cyclopentadienyl) to give the objective copolymer.
