FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT WITH BULLETIN BOARD FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To allow other company's equipment to use the bulletin board function by detecting a prescribed DTMF signal for a 1st monitor period, interrupting a lien once when a DTMF signal representing a station number for a 2nd monitor period, dialing its station number and sending the content of a message. CONSTITUTION:A 1st monitor period is provided till the execution of the procedure after the arrival of a call by means of a timer 1a built in a control section 1, and when a DTMF signal is received during the period, it is detected that a caller requests a bulletin board function, and when a group of DTMF signal representing the station number is sent from the caller for a 2nd monitor period, it is discriminated that the caller requests a message. Then the sent DTMF signal is sequentially stored in a RAM 2 and it is stored as a caller telephone number, the line is interrupted once, the station number is dialed to send the message content stored in advance in the RAM 2. Thus, even other company's equipment whose protocol is different can request the bulletin board function.
