PURPOSE:To improve developability and the preservable property with age under high-temp. and high-humidity conditions by adding fine particle silver iodide to a specific silver halide emulsion during the process from chemical maturation to coating, thereby preparing the emulsion. CONSTITUTION:The core of the silver halide emulsion particles incorporated into the silver halide emulsion (mother emulsion) which is the base body to be added with the fine particle silver iodide consists substantially of silver iodobromide.
