PURPOSE:To offer a roll stamper for molding a substrate for information recording medium which can consecutively and accurately form a preformat on a resin sheet. CONSTITUTION:Supposing that the length and the width of a preformat pattern 11 of the roll stamper 13 are set as (a) and (b), and the specified length and the width of the preformat of the substrate for the information recording medium 16 are set as A and B, respectively, the value of b/a is made larger than the value of B/A.
