PURPOSE:To enable a robot to execute acting patterns meeting the expectation of each user when each user transmits registered intelligent parameters registered by each user in an intelligent parameter data base from a remote place after the robot is connected through a telephone line. CONSTITUTION:A semi-self-control robot is provided with an action control section 1-7 which, in turn, is provided with a multilayered neural circuit network 1-3 composed of plural units and plural links and, when sensor information is given to the input of the network 1-3, a work acting pattern is obtained as an output. Therefore, it is possible to enable the robot to execute acting patterns meeting the expectation of each user by replacing the intelligent parameter of the robot with the weight to each link and offset of each unit of the network 1-3 and transmitting intelligent parameters registered by each user in an intelligent parameter data base from a remote place.
