DEVICE FOR PREPARING TRANSPLANTING SEEDLING IN RUST TRANSPLANTER

PURPOSE:To improve the planting work of a transplanter by continuously carrying flattened seedlings, attaching a supporter on the surface of the flattened seedlings and subsequently integrating the supporter to the seedlings by an attaching means. CONSTITUTION:Flattened seedlings are continuously nipped and carried with a feeding and carrying member 42 in a continuously connected state. In an attaching mechanism disposed on the carrying down stream of the feeding and carrying means 42, a supporter 36 supplied from a supply roller 49 is attached to the side surface of the continuous seedlings carried and fed. In the next attached mechanism 51, the attached supporter is integrated with the seedlings 35 by an attaching means. Namely, a supporting roller 54 is driven to rotate a rotating member 52, and a scraper 57 winds a yarn on the supporter- attached portion of the seedlings 35, while being revolved on the supporter- attached portion, thereby permitting to reduce a labor in a process for treating the transplanting seedlings and to improve the efficiency of the planting work with the transplanter.
